Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Site Supervision & Execution
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities at the site.
- Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Monitor progress and quality of work to meet project timelines.
- Supervise contractors, laborers, and subcontractors on-site.
2. Planning & Coordination
- Assist in preparing daily/weekly work schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project managers.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, machinery, and manpower.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for material delivery.
3. Quality Assurance & Control
- Inspect construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with standards.
- Conduct tests for concrete, steel, soil, etc. when required.
- Maintain quality control reports and rectify defects.
- Implement safety measures and compliance with legal/environmental regulations.
4. Measurement & Documentation
- Maintain site records including daily progress reports, labor attendance, and material consumption.
- Verify and certify contractor bills, measurements, and quantities.
- Prepare reports for management regarding project status and site issues.
- Ensure proper documentation of drawings, changes, and approvals.
5. Problem Solving & Technical Support
- Resolve technical issues on-site in consultation with senior engineers.
- Suggest cost-effective and practical solutions during execution.
- Monitor risk factors and address challenges in real-time.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce site safety protocols for workers and staff.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure use of PPE.
- Adhere to statutory compliance and environmental guidelines.
7. Communication & Reporting
- Act as a link between the office and site team.
- Provide updates on work progress, challenges, and requirements.
- Support project planning meetings and review discussions.
