Site Engineer (Civil)

1. Role Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring work is carried out as per drawings, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines. The role involves coordination with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth site execution.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Site Execution & Supervision

• Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Check levels, measurements, and ensure accuracy during execution.
• Resolve technical issues on site and escalate when required.

B. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure material quality as per project standards.
• Conduct inspection of work done by contractors.
• Maintain quality control documents and checklists.
• Ensure adherence to company guidelines, code of conduct, and operational procedures.

C. Coordination

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and workers for smooth project execution.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, engineers, and internal teams.
• Assist in planning daily/weekly work schedules.

D. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain site records, work-progress reports, material consumption logs, and DPR (Daily Progress Report).
• Update project manager on work status and site challenges.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and audit-ready.

E. Safety Management

• Ensure site safety protocols are followed by all personnel.
• Identify hazards and enforce corrective measures.

F. Additional Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional requirements as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by management from time to time in support of business operations.

3. Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Civil
• 2–5 years of relevant site execution experience.
• Good knowledge of drawings, measurements, and construction procedures.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred).
• Ability to manage contractors and handle site challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
