Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Civil Project Site In-Charge to oversee the day-to-day construction activities of our residential building projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in structural and finishing works, strong coordination skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality projects within defined timelines.

*Key Responsibilities*

Construction Supervision

Manage and supervise all site activities including excavation, RCC works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing works.

Ensure construction is executed strictly as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Monitor contractor and labour performance and ensure optimal productivity.

*Project Coordination*

Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and subcontractors for smooth workflow.

Ensure alignment of civil work with plumbing, electrical, and other services.

Communicate progress updates to the Project Manager regularly.

*Quality Assurance*

Ensure correct reinforcement placement, shuttering alignment, curing procedures, and material quality.

Facilitate material and concrete tests as required.

Safety Compliance

Enforce site safety protocols and ensure workers follow PPE guidelines.

Conduct toolbox talks and minimize unsafe practices and hazards.

*Documentation & Reporting*

Maintain daily site reports, quality checklists, material logs, and site diaries.

Prepare weekly progress reports and highlight risks or delays.

Document deviations from drawings and support in preparing variation reports.

*Time & Cost Control*

Monitor schedule to ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Reduce material wastage and maintain cost control at the site.

*Required Skills*

Strong knowledge of residential building construction processes.

Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Leadership, team handling, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic project tracking tools.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
