Job Brief

Al Afiah Roads Contracting L.L.C. is looking for a hands-on Civil Site Engineer to oversee daily on-site operations for our infrastructure and road projects. You will manage site crews, ensure technical compliance with blueprints, coordinate material sampling with testing labs, and maintain strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision: Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring work matches approved drawings and specifications.
• Resource Management: Coordinate site labor, heavy machinery, and materials to maintain high productivity.
• Quality Control: Arrange for physical site sampling (soil, concrete, asphalt) and coordinate with the testing laboratory.
• Reporting: Maintain daily site diaries, track progress milestones, and report directly to the Project Manager.
• Safety: Enforce strict site safety protocols, inductions, and PPE compliance.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 3–5 years in roadworks, earthworks, or infrastructure projects.
• Skills: Ability to read engineering blueprints, and strong crew management skills.
• Attributes: Sharp problem-solving skills and comfort working in demanding outdoor site environments.
