Site Engineer (Civil + MEP Experience)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Site Engineer to join our project delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and UAE construction standards. Experience in real estate and hospitality projects will be a strong advantage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Execution & Supervision:

• Oversee day-to-day site activities to ensure construction works are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and report delays or risks to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety regulations, and UAE construction codes.

Construction Coordination:

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical input and progress updates.
• Liaise with consultants for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures on site.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required.
• Ensure all works comply with approved method statements and material submittals.

Drawings & Technical Support:

• Review construction drawings and resolve site-level technical issues.
• Prepare and submit RFIs, shop drawings, and as-built documentation as required.
• Support value engineering initiatives without compromising quality or compliance.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and site safety procedures.
• Identify potential hazards and ensure preventive measures are implemented on site.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and inspection records.
• Support project close-out documentation and handover processes.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant UAE experience as a Site Civil Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience in construction contract administration aligned with Dubai statutory codes, DSC standards, and Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations.
• Proven experience in real estate projects; hospitality project exposure is a strong plus.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, local authority regulations, and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic construction software/tools.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Immediate joiners or candidates available within 2 weeks of preferred.
