SITE ENGINEER -FINISHING

• Job Summary:

The Site Engineer – Finishing will be responsible for supervising and ensuring high-quality execution of all finishing activities at the site, including plastering, flooring, painting, false ceiling, joinery, and other interior works. The role demands strong attention to detail, quality control, and coordination with subcontractors and other site teams to meet deadlines and achieve project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor all finishing activities to ensure work quality and compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Plan and schedule daily site activities to ensure smooth progress and timely completion.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, and design teams to avoid rework and ensure proper sequence of finishing works.
• Check materials received at site for conformity with quality and specification.
• Ensure workmanship standards are maintained as per project and client expectations.
• Verify and certify subcontractor works and measurements for billing.
• Conduct inspections for plastering, flooring, painting, joinery, ceiling, and related finishes.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards at the site.
• Report site progress, quality concerns, and manpower status to the Project Manager.
• Maintain documentation such as site reports, material requests, inspection checklists, and progress records
• Qualification & Experience:
• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Skills Required:

• Strong technical knowledge of finishing works (plastering, painting, tiling, false ceiling, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and site reporting tools.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility toward quality and deadlines.
• Team player with leadership and problem-solving ability.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building construction with a focus on finishing works.
• Good knowledge of materials, quality standards, and construction techniques related to interiors and finishes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,054.18 - ₹40,000.00 per month
