Site Engineer (Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Systems)

Job Summary

The Site Engineer (Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Systems) will be responsible for managing and supporting the installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities of fire alarm and fire protection systems at project sites. Duties include coordinating site activities, reviewing technical documents, monitoring installation progress, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting project execution in accordance with approved specifications and standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems, understanding of NFPA standards, effective site coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting Systems.
  • Experience in industrial facilities, power plants, oil & gas projects, or similar large-scale projects is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in fire protection systems, fire alarm systems, fire fighting equipment, testing and commissioning procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Good knowledge of international standards including NFPA codes and related fire protection standards.
  • Demonstrates strong technical skills, site coordination ability, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Must be available in Kuwait with valid transferrable visa
