Site Engineer – Fit Out (Gypsum)

• Job Summary:

The Site Engineer – Fit Out will be responsible for managing and supervising on-site activities for interior fit-out projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion according to project specifications and client requirements.

Responsibilies:

• Supervise day-to-day site activities for fit-out works including partitions, ceilings, flooring, finishes, and MEP coordination.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure accurate execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and local construction codes (e.g., UAE Civil Defense, DCD, Dubai Municipality).
• Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, and documentation of site activities.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, material approvals, and procurement coordination.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks, ensuring works meet design specifications.
• Support project managers in project planning, risk management, and resource allocation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fit-out projects, preferably in Construction Companies-UAE.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software (Primavera / MS Project preferred).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
