Site Engineer (Foreman background)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a capable and diligent Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities for our projects across the UAE. This role requires ensuring technical compliance, robust progress monitoring, and proactive problem-solving on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and hands-on experience managing site operations for large-scale developments, including high floor residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily site construction activities, ensuring all work aligns with project plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety regulations, and promptly address any discrepancies.
• Monitor project progress, prepare daily site reports, and communicate updates to the project management team.
• Assist in resource allocation, material management, and site logistics to maintain efficient operations.
• Oversee the implementation of safety procedures and risk assessments on site.
• Review construction drawings and provide technical guidance to the workforce.
• Maintain accurate project records, including material usage, site changes, and quality assurance documentation.
• Support in the handover process and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Site Engineer in construction, ideally within the UAE.
• Demonstrated experience working on high floor residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, building codes, and local authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction management software.
• Excellent technical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience on large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• Sound understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Exceptional teamwork, coordination, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to evolving site conditions.
• Previous experience in both contractor and developer environments is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED10,000.00 per month
