Site Engineer (Gypsum)

Job Description

Green Oasis Decor LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Site Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations for gypsum ceilings, drywall partitions, GRG works, and interior fit-out activities, ensuring smooth execution, quality workmanship, and timely project delivery.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Supervisors, and Client/Main Contractor representatives to ensure all site works meet specification, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor site activities for gypsum ceilings, partitions, GRG works, painting, and related interior fit-out tasks.
• Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications to plan site execution.
• Coordinate daily with foremen and workers to ensure proper material allocation and work sequencing.
• Prepare daily site reports, manpower reports, progress updates, and material consumption logs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, method statements, and site regulations.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure works meet project specifications and workmanship standards.
• Coordinate with the main contractor for inspections, approvals, and site instructions.
• Report variations, discrepancies, or additional works to the Project Manager.
• Assist in material quantity take-offs and verify material deliveries at site.
• Identify site issues and provide immediate solutions to avoid delays.
• Maintain site documentation and ensure smooth handover upon completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years UAE experience in gypsum, drywall, ceilings, or interior fit-out projects (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of gypsum work sequence, materials, installation methods, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and project specifications.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is a plus.
• Strong site supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage manpower, subcontractors, and workload effectively.
• Familiar with HSE rules and site safety procedures.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
