Site Engineer – High-Rise Building Project

Location: Dubai, UAE

Experience Required: 5–6 years (UAE experience mandatory)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Job Description:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring that all construction work is executed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and schedules. The role requires hands-on experience in high-rise building construction and strong coordination with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor progress and quality of works to ensure adherence to project schedule and safety standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of work.
• Prepare daily site reports, work progress summaries, and material usage logs.
• Assist in planning and sequencing of construction activities to optimize productivity.
• Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC and HSE requirements at the site.
• Verify materials, drawings, and quantities before execution.
• Identify and report any technical issues or deviations to the Project Engineer/Manager.
• Participate in site inspections and ensure that corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Attend site meetings and contribute to resolving construction-related challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–6 years of UAE experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in high-rise or large-scale building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, project sequencing, and finishing works.
• Familiar with UAE building codes, authority regulations, and safety standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction management software.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience with well-known consultants or main contractors in Dubai.
• Certification in project management or construction supervision (advantage).
