Site Engineer – Interior Fit-Out & General Contracting

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Site Engineer to manage the execution of construction and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site activities, ensuring work is completed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is carried out as per project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site documentation, and inspection logs.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and report to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
• Assist in material procurement and verification of delivered items.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to construction standards and client expectations.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and handovers with consultants or clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in interior fit-out or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of site execution, finishes, and coordination.
• Ability to read and implement technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety practices.
• Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on multiple sites and adapt to project needs.

Preferred:

• UAE or GCC experience (adjust if needed).
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes.
• Driving License
• Experience in MEP coordination is a plus
