Oversee all work site activities including planning, organizing, and monitoring of project installations and completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and plan the execution of site installation works, including quality by ensuring that the rendered services and contracted work is according to the approved drawings and specified customer requirements.
- Confirmed the needed manpower at sites based on customer requirements and the target completion date.
- Inspect completed work to ensure that the project is according to the customer specifications.
- Review and adjust specific workplace activities and task schedules to meet established completion schedules.
- Review, manage, monitor, and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client.
- Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local regulations and by-laws.
- Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers, and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of the work in progress.
- Preparing the project’s weekly and monthly reports.
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on projects.
- Guide and resolve the issues of foremen.
- Discipline and motivate the team.
- Adherence to the Health and Safety guidance while performing duties and reinforce those to be followed.
- Asses the performance of the staff below, identify the training needs and fulfill them.
- Maintain and improve site related procedures in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:20017 standard.
- Resolve, or if unable to resolve, report and scheduling conflicts with other crews and contractors and to the appropriate persons.
- Perform other related duties relevant to the position that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Graduate of any four-year degree course in Engineering preferably in Civil
Professional Experiences: With minimum 5 years’ related experience in projects and site works of wood joinery and fit-out projects in similar capacity.
