Site Engineer -Mechanical (Pipeline) - Qatar
- Supervise and coordinate all site activities related to pipeline installation, fabrication, welding, and testing.
- Ensure work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, drawings, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor and control project progress to ensure timely completion within budget and schedule.
- Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth execution of work.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and project documents.
- Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
- Ensure all safety and environmental regulations are followed on site.
- Support in hydrotesting, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities of pipelines.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pipeline construction, preferably in Oil & Gas Projects.
- Gulf experience is mandatory (must have worked on projects in GCC countries).
- Strong understanding of pipeline materials, welding procedures, and NDT processes.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ASTM, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality control.
