Site Engineer (Plumbing)

Role Purpose To supervise, coordinate, and ensure the proper execution of all plumbing and drainage works on-site in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, local authority requirements, and safety standards. The Plumbing Site Engineer ensures quality installation, timely completion, and effective coordination with other disciplines in all stages of project execution. Key Accountabilities Supervise and monitor plumbing and drainage installation works on-site to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Review and interpret shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals before implementation. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to ensure smooth execution and resolve site conflicts or design discrepancies. Plan and monitor daily site activities, manpower allocation, and material usage to ensure timely completion of work. Conduct site inspections and verify that installations meet quality and safety standards. Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, ADDC, etc.) and company HSE policies. Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical and coordination issues. Support the testing, commissioning, and handover of plumbing and drainage systems. Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, inspection requests, and other required documentation. Identify and report technical issues, material shortages, or delays, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure proper documentation of as-built drawings, inspection records, and installation reports. Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3+ years of experience in plumbing and drainage site supervision within MEP projects, preferably in the UAE or GCC. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, drainage systems, piping materials, and installation standards. Familiarity with UAE authority requirements (e.g., DM, ADDC, DEWA, ADSSC). Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiarity with Revit MEP is an advantage. Experience in testing and commissioning of plumbing systems. Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
