Responsibilities:

Site Supervision and Coordination:

• Oversee and manage daily operations on-site to ensure the project progresses smoothly.
• Supervise the activities of workers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with project design, schedule, and safety standards.
• Maintain clear communication with the project manager, ensuring work aligns with the overall project plan.

Quality Control and Assurance:

• Ensure all construction and fit-out work is carried out according to design specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, identifying potential issues and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
• Assist with the implementation of corrective actions to maintain high-quality workmanship throughout the project.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Enforce site-specific safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Conduct daily safety checks and address any health or safety concerns immediately.
• Ensure workers are equipped with appropriate PPE and follow safe working practices at all times.

Project Progress Monitoring:

• Track daily work progress and report regularly to the project manager, highlighting any delays or issues that might impact the project timeline.
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to ensure availability when needed, preventing project disruptions.
• Monitor material usage and ensure it aligns with the project’s requirements and budget.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including daily progress reports, materials used, and hours worked.
• Document and report any deviations from the project plan or site-related issues.
• Ensure proper documentation for quality control, safety audits, and project progress updates.

Team Management and Collaboration:

• Lead and motivate the on-site team, ensuring clear communication and task delegation among contractors and subcontractors.
• Assist in resolving conflicts or technical issues that may arise during construction.
• Collaborate closely with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure timely project completion and alignment with objectives.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, particularly in interior fit-out projects preferably in commercial and retail projects

Educational Background:

• A degree or certification in Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of fit-out techniques, and interior design specifications.
• Familiarity with building codes, construction regulations, and safety standards.

Skills:

• UAE Driving License is mandatory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse team members and clients.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in enforcing them on-site.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring issues are promptly identified and resolved to maintain project flow.
• Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate, guide, and supervise a team.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and respond flexibly to changes as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
