Job Title: Foreman Site

Job Summary:
The Site Foreman – Aluminium & Glass Works is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site activities related to the fabrication, installation, and finishing of aluminum and glass systems. This role ensures that work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and company quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision & Coordination

  • Lead and supervise installation teams for aluminum and glass works (doors, windows, curtain walls, façades, partitions, skylights, balustrades, etc.).
  • Plan daily tasks, allocate labor, and monitor productivity.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.

2. Technical Expertise

  • Interpret shop drawings, installation manuals, specifications, and project plans.
  • Ensure correct measurements, levels, alignments, and fixing methods.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and provide practical solutions on-site.
  • Oversee handling, assembly, sealing, and finishing of glass and aluminum components.

3. Quality Assurance

  • Conduct inspections to ensure all installations meet design standards, tolerance requirements, and client specifications.
  • Monitor fabrication quality and highlight discrepancies to the production team.
  • Ensure proper protection of installed items to prevent damage.

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce safety procedures and company policies at all times.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure all team members use proper PPE.
  • Identify and mitigate on-site hazards, especially when working with glass handling and cutting tools.

5. Material & Resource Management

  • Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment required for daily tasks.
  • Verify material quantities delivered to site and report shortages or damaged items.
  • Maintain logs, daily activity reports, and attendance records.

6. Communication & Reporting

  • Provide daily progress updates to the Project/Site Manager.
  • Communicate clearly with workers and subcontractors to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
  • Liaise with clients and consultants when required for inspections or clarifications.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience as a Site Foreman in aluminum and glass installation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of curtain walls, windows, doors, partitions, façades, and associated hardware.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical documents.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of industry safety standards and safe handling of glass.

Work Environment:
This role may require lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions. The Foreman should be prepared for a hands-on role and will often be on-site to supervise and assist in maintenance activities
