Job Purpose
To supervise, coordinate, and guide construction site activities and labor teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision
- Oversee daily on-site construction activities and ensure tasks are executed according to project plans and specifications.
- Direct and monitor skilled and unskilled laborers, subcontractors, and helpers.
- Ensure proper use of tools, machinery, and equipment on-site.
2. Quality Control & Inspection
- Check work for compliance with design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and correct defects or deviations.
- Ensure materials used meet project quality and safety requirements.
3. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, PPE usage, and company policies.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure hazard mitigation measures are in place.
- Report accidents, unsafe conditions, or incidents promptly to management.
4. Coordination & Reporting
- Liaise with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain daily reports on labor, progress, materials, and site activities.
- Assist in planning manpower allocation and workflow scheduling.
5. Resource & Equipment Management
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of construction materials and equipment.
- Identify resource needs and request additional labor or materials when required.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and usage efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma, vocational training, or relevant construction experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Site Foreman in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
