Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all site activities (civil, structural, electrical, etc.) for the BESS project, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Oversee daily work of third-party contractors, site engineers, and labour teams; ensure timely progress and resolve site-level issues.

Conduct regular site inspections, monitor quality of work, and enforce strict compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols.

Ensure all site activities are executed as per project schedule, cost, and quality targets.

Review and verify contractor work plans, method statements, and risk assessments before execution.

Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and internal teams for material delivery, resource planning, and technical support.

Maintain site documentation, daily progress reports, and ensure proper record-keeping for inspections, audits, and handovers.

Support in obtaining statutory clearances and ensure compliance with local authorities and regulatory bodies.

Prepare and submit MIS reports to the Project Engineering Manager / Engineer Head and liaise with HO or relevant stakeholders as required.

Participate in site meetings, audits, and reviews; escalate critical issues for timely resolution.
Qualifications
Experience in projects located in high wind/seismic/arid zones.
Exposure to EHS management and multi-contractor environments.
Familiarity with SCADA, MIS, fire protection, and safety systems at site level.
10+ years in large-scale power/renewable energy/transmission projects; 8+ years in a lead role for BESS/substation/RE project site
