Job Description
REPORTS TO: Project Manager
As a Senior Systems Integration Engineer, you are accountable for:

Supporting the product integration and site verification phases
-
Supporting the coordination of system integration activities on site, and delivering software integration services for systems and/or sub-systems of products
-
Defining and leading testing activities (regression, interface, simulation scenarios and test tools)
-
Product installation, configuration, data management, performance monitoring and systems administration
-
Leading the integration & block testing of incremental software releases for products and/or projects, in accordance with the schedule
-
Providing expert technical support to the software integration & development team during the implementation phases of the project

Identifying risks and proposing effective solutions
-
Authoring documentation and documentation updates
-
Providing support services through analysis and resolution of critical and non-critical incidents report by customer
-
Supporting the build and testing of product maintenance releases
-
Support infrastructure configuration & testing activities in order to demonstrate the solution satisfies the user requirements
Delivering hardware integration services for systems and/or sub-systems of products deployed on site
Qualifications
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated the following knowledge and experience:

Mandatory knowledge of TopSKY HE Product
-
A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science or IT
-
Solid understanding of software integration and testing processes including regression, interface, simulation scenarios and test tools
-
Solid experience in using UNIX/Linux operating systems, binary and source level debugging tools, Requirement/Test and Defect Management Systems
-
Practical experience of integration of software / hardware components on large, complex, software-based systems
-
Practical experience with programming languages such as; Java, Shell Scripting, Python and continuous integration tools such as Git and Jenkins

Experience with the Red Hat Linux Operating Systems, including Kernel configuration, driver packages, performance tuning and automation
-
Familiarity with a wide range of computer and networking hardware (preferably HP and Cisco)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise documents that clearly articulate complex technical detail
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in site integration and system deployment, ideally within the air traffic management sector

Strong understanding of air traffic control systems, communication protocols, and related infrastructure.

Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including Internal entities, Consultant, client and end users
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
-
Strong knowledge of networking, hardware/software integration, and system deployment.
-
Proficiency with specific operating systems commonly used in air traffic systems, such as Linux and Thalix
-
Ability to troubleshoot, configure, and maintain systems across these OS platform
