About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, safety-first Site Lead to oversee daily operations at our Baytown satellite location. You will serve as the primary liaison between Maine Oxy, drivers, and third-party partners while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient helium distribution operations.

This role blends leadership, logistics coordination, administrative oversight, and operational support. You will plan routes, manage schedules and payroll, coordinate vehicle maintenance, oversee inventory, ensure DOT compliance, and step in operationally when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and manage site personnel
  • Coordinate driver schedules and route planning
  • Oversee billing accuracy and inventory reporting
  • Enforce Maine Oxy and third-party policies and procedures
  • Lead monthly safety meetings and escalate safety concerns
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and tube trailer fills
  • Maintain cylinder and trailer fill logs
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and Hours of Service regulations
  • Monitor GPS activity and support operational efficiency
  • Assist with helium filling and trailer loading as needed

Qualifications:


  • 2+ years logistics, transportation, industrial, or distribution experience
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and Hours of Service
  • Budget oversight experience
  • Proficient in Excel
  • CDL with HazMat endorsement a plus

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 25–75 lbs and work in an industrial environment.
