Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Lead to oversee soft services operations for a high-profile, secure facility in the Middle East.

This role is suited to individuals with experience operating in military, defence, government or critical infrastructure environments, either from a military background or as a civilian working in secure or operational sites.

Based in Dubai, the successful candidate will lead daily site operations, manage local service partners, and act as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the contract — supporting visa, government liaison and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Lead all soft services delivery including facilities support, accommodation, catering, cleaning, transport coordination and welfare services
• Ensure service delivery meets contractual, regulatory and client standards
• Act as the senior on-site point of contact for the contract

Client & Stakeholder Liaison

• Maintain strong relationships with client representatives, site leadership and local authorities
• Provide clear reporting, issue resolution and operational updates

PRO & Government Liaison

• Act as PRO for the contract, managing interactions with:
• Immigration and visa authorities
• Labour and employment offices
• Local government departments
• Support onboarding, residency, licensing and compliance for staff assigned to site

People & Site Management

• Supervise local teams and subcontractors
• Oversee accommodation, welfare and logistics for site personnel
• Maintain professional, compliant and culturally aware operations

Essential Requirements

• Fluent Arabic (spoken, read and written)
• Proven experience working in:
• Military, defence, government, secure or critical infrastructure environments
• OR civilian leadership roles supporting those environments
• Strong operational leadership and people management capability
• Experience working in the Middle East or in regulated international environments
• High level of professionalism, discretion and cultural awareness

Desirable Experience

• Prior military service or defence contracting background
• Experience working as a PRO, operations manager or site manager in the UAE
• Facilities, accommodation, or base-support services exposure
