SENIOR HR EXECUTIVE

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Professional who is locally available in Bahrain and can join immediately. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Bahrain Labour Law, LMRA, GOSI, MOL processes, and end-to-end HR operations.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented HR leader who can independently manage HR functions while supporting business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full spectrum of HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, and exits
  • Ensure full compliance with Bahrain Labour Law, LMRA, MOL, GOSI, visas, work permits, and related government processes
  • Manage employee contracts, policies, handbooks, and HR documentation
  • Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, warnings, and terminations in line with local laws
  • Lead recruitment activities: sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
  • Manage performance management systems and employee appraisals
  • Advise management on HR best practices, legal risks, and workforce planning
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives
  • Maintain HR records and generate reports for management
  • Act as a point of contact for audits and inspections

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5–10+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role
  • Strong working knowledge of Bahrain Labour Law and HR compliance
  • Hands-on experience with LMRA, MOL, GOSI, visas, and government portals
  • Currently based in Bahrain (local hire only)
  • Immediate joiner or short notice period
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential matters professionally
