Job Responsibilities:

Ensure daily composting operations run efficiently and in line with production plans

Monitor and continuously optimize the process with strong contractual obligations.

Facilitate and coordinate maintenance activities in collaboration with the Maintenance Team to minimize disruptions to the operational process.

Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all facility equipment by verifying the proper execution of the preventive maintenance plan.

Review and confirm the issuance of work orders for corrective maintenance as needed, ensuring timely response to equipment issues and failures. Review Compost production and work on optimizing.

Follow up operation consumables and their supply.

Monitor the Facility performance: running hours, process results & equipment.

Track KPIs such as tonnage processed, compost output, downtime, fuel usage.

Evaluate plant operations assure proper adjustment of Facility processes.

Coordinates sampling operations to assure proper balance of treatment steps and meeting Product requirements; ensures the proper conduct of laboratory tests performed by operation staff.

Oversee process engineering methods for Composting facility.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports for senior management.

Facilitate maintenance work in collaboration with Maintenance Team to minimize the Disturbance on the process, and to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment.

Verify proper implementation of plant preventive. maintenance plan as well as the work order issuance for any corrective maintenance whenever required.

Liaise with logistics, quality, procurement, and other internal departments.

Support audits and visits from clients, regulators, or company management.

Provide major contribution to fostering client relationships.

Coordinate with HSE to ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in facility operations, preferably in composting, waste treatment, or process manufacturing sectors.

Strong knowledge of composting processes, including material handling, batching, curing, and product finishing.

Proven experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical and electrical equipment.

Solid understanding of process optimization, plant performance evaluation, and KPI tracking (e.g., tonnage processed, fuel use, compost output).

Familiarity with CMMS/ERP systems, data reporting tools, and operational dashboards.
-
Working knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management practices, and safety standards related to waste management and industrial operations.

Certification in Safety Management, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing (preferred).
