About the Role
NOMAC is seeking a
Site Manager
to oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of our wind farms, ensuring optimal performance, safety, reliability, and compliance. The role will be responsible for leading O&M teams, managing contractors, monitoring KPIs, and driving continuous improvement across plant operations.
This is a senior leadership position for candidates with a proven track record in wind farm operations, maintenance, and management.

Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE)

Ensure full compliance with NOMAC HSSE standards and local regulations.

Conduct regular PTW inspections and enforce safety policies for staff and subcontractors.

Develop and update safety training programs, maintain high electrical hazard awareness, and implement Process Safety Management (PSM).
Strategy & Planning
-
Align plant operations with NOMAC’s O&M strategy and departmental objectives.

Prepare reports and presentations for management on operational performance, challenges, and mitigation plans.

Monitor and follow up on operational plans to maximize efficiency and productivity.
People Management
-
Lead and manage direct and indirect reports, including recruitment and performance management.

Mentor, coach, and develop employees to ensure competency and career growth.

Ensure subcontractor personnel adherence to NOMAC policies and procedures.
Financial & Risk Management
-
Develop and manage the plant operating budget; monitor financial performance.
-
Identify risks, oversee insurance claims, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Operations & Maintenance
-
Provide technical guidance and oversight to O&M teams to achieve operational objectives.

Monitor performance KPIs and implement improvement initiatives.

Ensure proper handover processes with OEMs and management of spare parts, LTSA, and services.
Supply Chain Management

Approve purchase requisitions for materials, equipment, services, and manpower.

Ensure contractors deliver work on time, within scope, and according to HSSE standards.
Continuous Improvement & IMS Compliance

Identify opportunities for operational, technical, and financial improvements.

Maintain IMS procedures and support audits for certification and compliance.
Relationship Management & Reporting

Build strong relationships with project stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and external authorities.

Prepare comprehensive technical, financial, and HSSE reports for management and clients.

Qualifications & Experience
Education:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).
Experience:
-
Minimum 10 years in the wind sector, including at least 5 years leading O&M services in wind farms.

Proven experience in managing large-scale wind farm operations, maintenance, and performance improvement initiatives.

Techno-commercial expertise with strong knowledge of contracts and agreements.
Skills:

Leadership, mentoring, coaching, and people management.

Planning, organizing, and integration of complex operational tasks.

Strong conceptual, analytical, and presentation skills.
-
Operations & maintenance knowledge of power generation plants, ideally NOMAC standards.

Excellent communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.

Project management experience.
