Job Description:

We are seeking a Site Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical works for a project based in Lusail, Qatar. This is a 4-month contract with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute mechanical site activities including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and safety standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other disciplines on-site.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support as required.
• Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly updates to the Project Manager.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure compliance with local and international codes.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant site experience in mechanical works (preferably in the Gulf region).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, and mechanical installations.
• Excellent site supervision and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering software.
• Must have a valid Freelancer Visa and be currently based in Qatar.
