The Site Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, of mechanical systems at the construction site. The role involves ensuring the smooth execution of mechanical works, adhering to project specifications, safety standards, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision:

- Supervise and manage the mechanical installation works on-site, including HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, LPG, and other mechanical systems.

- Ensure that the work is carried out in compliance with the contract specifications, drawings, and relevant codes and standards.

- Coordinate and monitor the day-to-day activities of contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

2. Quality Control & Assurance:

- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that mechanical work meets the required standards.

- Conduct inspections and tests as needed and maintain proper documentation.

- Identify and resolve any non-conformities or issues on-site.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, in high-rise construction, with at least 2 years in the UAE (consultant-side experience required)

- Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection.

- Familiarity with industry standards and codes.
