Site Mechanical Engineer

1. Project Execution & Supervision

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, etc.).
• Monitor daily mechanical activities on site to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Ensure proper implementation of project quality and safety procedures.

2. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Attend site meetings, progress reviews, and coordinate planning with the project manager.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and requirements effectively.

3. Quality Control

• Conduct inspections and prepare reports to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.
• Verify materials and equipment delivered to the site conform to approved specifications.
• Ensure proper installation and workmanship during execution.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain accurate site records.
• Assist in preparing work schedules, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Review and verify as-built drawings before project handover.

5. Problem Solving & Technical Support

• Identify and troubleshoot site-related mechanical issues to avoid delays.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
• Propose solutions for design conflicts and coordinate with designers/consultants where needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
