We are seeking an experienced professional in Site Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team.

Candidate must have at least 10-15 years’ experience in all mechanical trades, with minimum of 10 years with consultancy background.

Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering is mandatory.

Appropriate mechanical code knowledge related to UAE is mandatory.

Understanding of construction sequencing & methodology.
-
Strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently.

Proven experience as mechanical engineer in high rise building is preferred.
-
Experience with Emaar and familiarity with Emaar standards is added advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
-
Lead mechanical site supervision activities for high‑rise building projects.
-
Review, approve and process all Mechanical technical submittals.
-
Review and clear RFI’s related to Mechanical system.
-
Reviewing contractor’s Mechanical change order proposals and preparing recommendations to RE / PM.
-
Review contractors’ claims related to Mechanical works and preparing recommendations for claims.
-
Ensure all mechanical installations comply with project specifications, codes, consultancy standards and client requirements.

Coordinate with sub consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

Attend regular progress meetings and technical meetings with the client, contractors and subcontractors

Manage and assist the Mechanical inspectors team.

Conduct regular site visits with inspectors’ team to ensure project quality is in compliance with client requirements.

Ensure and verify progress and quality reports prepared by the inspectors.

Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the Mechanical works.

Ensure the handover of the project is done in compliance with the requirements of the project contract performance requirement.

Ensure adherence to Emaar guidelines and approval processes when applicable.

Support project planning, scheduling, and resource management.

Perform all other duties given by RE

Strong computer knowledge of office & industry software (MS-office, Aconex, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM etc.)

Strong understanding of other related building disciplines.

Self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver successfully.

Proactively identify project risks and notify the lead / RE promptly.

Strong knowledge of all related Authorities standards and regulations

Contribute to company initiatives such as incorporation of Technology and data into work and to define new working practices.
