Job Summary

The Site Nurse is responsible for providing immediate medical care and first aid services to employees at the project site, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and occupational standards. The role includes maintaining medical records, conducting health assessments, and supporting HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) programs in alignment with company policies and UAE health regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid and emergency medical care to site personnel in case of accidents, injuries, or health emergencies.
  • Monitor and maintain the site clinic with adequate medical supplies, equipment, and medications in accordance with HAAD/DOH standards.
  • Conduct daily health checks and promote health awareness among workers.
  • Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functional.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring HSE and occupational health programs.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, incident reports, and documentation as per company and HAAD/DOH requirements.
  • Support in the pre-employment and periodic medical examinations of site staff.
  • Coordinate with local hospitals and emergency services when referrals or transfers are required.
  • Participate in health and safety training and emergency drills.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control, hygiene, and confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with valid HAAD/DOH License (mandatory).
  • Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of clinical or occupational health experience, preferably in a construction or industrial site setting.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and occupational health standards.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Ability to work independently and handle emergencies under pressure.

Preferred Skills

  • Training in First Aid, Trauma Management, or Occupational Health Nursing.
  • Familiarity with HSE management systems (ISO 45001, OSHA).
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, health record systems).

Working Conditions

  • Based at the project site.
  • Rotational or shift-based work schedule may be required.
  • Must be available for emergency response at all times during site hours.
