Job Purpose:

  • The Site Quality Control Senior Engineer will oversee safety and quality compliance during busway installation, testing, and commissioning. This role ensures zero incidents and high-quality execution by conducting safety training, auditing site work, managing quality reports, and ensuring compliance with NFPA, OSHA standards and local regulations. The candidate will support After-Sales Team, evaluate subcontractors, and resolve customer complaints. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in electrical installations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve customer complaints with applying suitable resolution tools (E.G. G8D)
  • Assess subcontractor installation quality and produce reports highlighting non-conformities.
  • Issue quality reports with the non-conformity of sub-contractors’ installation.
  • Ensure all service activities comply with internal quality and HSE guidelines, reporting any non-conformities encountered during execution.
  • Conduct site-specific risk assessments for busway handling, jointing, tap-off installation, and elevated work (e.g., scissor lifts).
  • Develop and enforce HSE plans, including lockout/tagout, PPE selection & emergency response for hazard.
  • Confirm all site personnel are equipped with and utilize mandatory PPE
  • Develop safety documentation to support technical submissions and Verify adherence to customer site safety standards.
  • Deliver regular safety training sessions on busway-specific hazards for After-Sales Teams.
  • Monitor compliance with codes (NFPA 70E, IEC 61439, OSHA Subpart K/S) and conduct routine audits/inspections during installation phases to enforce safety protocols.
  • Log and investigate safety incidents, report near-misses, recommend corrective actions and collaborate with engineers to ensure site setup meets safety standards.
  • Manage documentation (e.g., safety logs, permits) and interface with regulators.


Qualification & Education :

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years in site safety, with 2+ years in electrical installation, Experience in data centers is asset (e.g., Tier III/IV facilities).
