Job Overview
JJL Concrete Construction is looking for an experienced and motivated Site Superintendent to lead our field operations on commercial concrete projects. This is a pivotal, full-time role where your leadership will directly impact project execution, team performance, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a former concrete foreman ready to transition into a management-level position, bringing a deep understanding of fieldwork, scheduling, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily field operations for commercial concrete projects.
  • Coordinate crew schedules and subcontractors to meet production timelines.
  • Maintain high standards of jobsite safety, cleanliness, and quality control.
  • Ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and project budgets.
  • Conduct daily jobsite walkthroughs and inspections.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and crew members.
  • Track project milestones and deliver progress reports.
  • Resolve field issues swiftly and professionally.
  • Uphold and enforce company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in commercial concrete construction, with leadership or foreman experience required.
  • Proven ability to lead crews and coordinate multiple trades on-site.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Clear and professional communication with both field staff and clients.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Commitment to jobsite safety, quality workmanship, and on-time delivery.
  • A background check will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws.

Schedule

  • Full-Time - Monday to Friday
