Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations across our residential and/or commercial development projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Site Supervisor will ensure that construction activities are carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Management:
• Supervise all on-site construction activities.
• Coordinate work among subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to project schedules.
• Ensure the site is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Quality & Compliance:
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and specifications.
• Report defects and ensure prompt rectification.
• Maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
• Health & Safety:
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations.
• Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment on-site.
• Communication & Coordination:
• Act as the primary on-site contact between workers, subcontractors, and the main office.
• Provide daily or weekly progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and consultants as required.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain site records including deliveries, inspections, and daily logs.
• Prepare site reports, incident logs, and photographic records.
• Assist in managing materials inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction or real estate development sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in basic computer tools (MS Office; familiarity with construction management software is a plus).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various site locations.

Work Environment:

• Primarily field-based, with regular site visits and occasional office meetings.
• May require extended hours and weekend work based on project needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
