A. Job Description

As a Site Supervisor cum QA/QC especially for Interior fit-out, is responsible to monitor site progress, compliance with safety rules and regulations. Supervise a team of workers, subcontractors and related stake within project bound. Ensure quality assurance and control of project takeaways from start to completion of project.

B. Key Responsibilities

1. Regular inspection of site to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.

2. Supervise and instruct the team with each respective responsibilities to be delivered at a daily basis.

3. Able to stand and own the project by educating co-workers in the construction site in terms of safety regulations and accident protocols all the time.

4. Enforce site safety rules and practices within the project parameter.

5. Maintain arrays of documentation – accurate record of construction team attendance (In & Out), leaves, absentee, etc.

6. Able to read shop drawings/working drawings to ensure project design intent are met as per project requirement.

7. Should be able to prepare B.O.Q and costings for the projects.

8. Increase efficiency by recommending required changes on construction operation as necessary.

9. Able to communicate confidently with all rounds of professionals/stakes within the construction field.

10. Maintain high level of quality assurance and control of all required deliverables on-site (e.g. joinery, materials, finishes, fixations, terminations etc.)

11.Should have thorough knowledge of civil and fit-out works, be capable of executing the site efficiently and on time, and skilled in assigning the right people to the right tasks.

C. Skills

1. At least 5 years of proven working experience at a reputed company (consultancy is a plus)

2. Able to operate AutoCAD and other drawing programs.

3. Should be well versed in MS Excel & MS Project

4. Able to work with various team experts of different backgrounds.

5. Strong project management skills – highly preferred.

6. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related.

7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

D. Qualification

1. Graduated from a reputable institution holding a bachelor’s degree of civil engineering, architecture, construction management or related field.

2. Affiliated to any local or international organization related to field is a plus.

3. PMP certified is a plus.

4. DM-certified is a plus.
