Key Responsibilities
Project Execution and Oversight:
- Supervise all civil construction operations on the site, including earthworks, concrete pouring, formwork, reinforcement placement, and finishing works.
- Interpret and implement engineering drawings and specifications accurately on site.
- Monitor the progress of work against the project schedule, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
Quality and Standards:
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets the required quality standards, project specifications, and local building codes.
- Coordinate and verify all materials delivered to the site, ensuring they match the approved specifications and quantities.
- Maintain detailed daily site records, including progress, manpower, materials, and equipment.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
- Conduct site safety briefings (toolbox talks) and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Immediately report all incidents, accidents, and near misses.
Team and Resource Management:
- Manage and coordinate the site workforce, including sub-contractors and direct laborers, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Allocate daily tasks and resources effectively.
- Liaise closely with the Project Manager, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve on-site issues promptly.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, materials, and quality assurance procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Core Competencies:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Fluency in relevant site reporting and communication (e.g., daily logs, progress reports).
- Valid safety certifications (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
