Site Supervisor (Civil)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Site Supervisor (Civil) to oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications, and maintain safety, quality, and progress on site. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and hands-on experience in civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site civil works and construction activities.
• Ensure that work is executed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Monitor daily progress, manpower, materials, and equipment on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in planning and scheduling work to meet project timelines.
• Maintain daily site reports, including work progress, issues, and resource usage.
• Resolve on-site challenges and coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and project management.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines.
• Verify and check material deliveries and ensure proper handling and storage.
• Support project documentation and contribute to site audits as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Site Engineer in civil construction projects.
• Strong understanding of civil works, construction methods, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and site management best practices.
• Proficient in preparing site reports and documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience in infrastructure, roads, utilities, or building projects.
• Knowledge of local authority requirements and approval processes.
• Certification in HSE or site supervision.
