Job Title: Fire Fighting Maintenance Supervisor

Job Purpose

The Fire Fighting Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the operation, inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire fighting and fire alarm systems to ensure full compliance with statutory norms and safety standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesFire Fighting System Maintenance

• Supervise installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire fighting systems including:
• Fire pumps (Diesel, Electric, Jockey)
• Hydrant & Sprinkler systems
• Fire hose reels, landing valves, monitors
• Fire extinguishers (ABC, CO₂, DCP, Water)
• Fire alarm & detection systems
• Ensure systems are always in operational condition as per NBC & local fire norms.

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

• Prepare and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance schedules.
• Identify faults and coordinate immediate corrective actions.
• Maintain proper spares, tools, and consumables.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain records for:
• Fire pump test logs
• Extinguisher refilling & inspection
• Hydrant pressure test records
• AMC and vendor reports
• Coordinate with Fire Department / Third-party auditors for inspections and NOCs.

Team Supervision

• Guide and monitor technicians, helpers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure safe work practices during maintenance activities.
• Provide on-job training and fire safety awareness to staff.

Emergency Preparedness

• Assist in conducting mock drills and emergency response exercises.
• Ensure availability of fire fighting equipment during emergencies.
• Support incident investigations related to fire safety.

Qualifications & Experience

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire & Safety, or equivalent.
• 3–6 years experience in fire fighting system maintenance (construction, industrial, or facility management).
• Knowledge of NBC, TAC, NFPA (basic understanding) is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of fire fighting equipment and systems
• Ability to read firefighting drawings & layouts
• Leadership and team-handling skills
• Good documentation and reporting ability
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reports)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
