As a Fashion Sketcher at Zuria Dor, you will serve as the visual bridge between creative ideas and tangible garments. Every sketch you create will guide multiple downstream functions, including design interpretation, pattern development, production planning, and sample execution. This position demands both artistic finesse and disciplined accuracy, as your sketches will represent the first concrete translation of the Creative Director’s vision.
Key Responsibilities

Sketching & Visual Development

Create neat, accurate, and proportionate hand sketches and digital sketches for new designs.

Translate verbal or visual direction from designers into finalized sketches.

Ensure consistency in detailing, proportions, and finishing elements.

Revise sketches based on feedback in a timely manner.

Collaboration & Coordination

Work closely with designers, pattern teams, and production coordinators to ensure design clarity.

Share sketches with relevant teams and support the design handover process.

Maintain clear communication around changes, corrections, and version updates.

Documentation & Organization

Organize all sketches (digital and physical) in a structured, easy-to-reference manner.

Maintain naming conventions, design codes, and version control.

Help prepare sketch sheets, mood boards, or design presentations when required.

Support to Design Function

Assist in visualizing new concepts during brainstorming sessions.

Provide clean sketches for MTO/RTW collections and capsule lines.

Support in preparing design lineups, season boards.
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong hand sketching and digital sketching capability.

Good sense of fashion proportions, silhouettes, and garment construction basics (non-technical level).

Creativity with the ability to follow brand style and direction.

Detail orientation and ability to capture small features accurately.

Time management and ability to work under fast-paced timelines.

Basic familiarity with software such as Adobe Illustrator
Experience & Education

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design or relevant field.

0–2 years of experience in fashion sketching or design support.
