Skid Steer/Excavator Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Skid Steer and Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various heavy equipment, including skid steers, excavators, and loaders. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations on construction sites, as we are a Fiberglass Pool Installation company. We also work in the snow in the winter time so the job is year round.

Duties

• Operate skid steers and other heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, and loaders to perform various tasks on construction sites.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to execute excavation, grading, paving, and horizontal drilling projects effectively.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating equipment to minimize risks on the job site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.

Requirements

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with skid steers, excavators, dozers, and loaders.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices.
• Experience with grader operation and paving techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments typical of construction sites.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
