Skilled Carpenter/ Framer- Residential Projects

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter/Framer to join our team dedicated to residential construction projects. In this role, you will bring craftsmanship, precision, and efficiency to a variety of residential builds, including new homes, remodeling, and restoration projects. Your expertise will help turn blueprints into reality, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing and carpentry tasks.
• Construct, install, and repair structural frameworks using wood, metal studs, and other materials for residential buildings.
• Erect metal buildings and perform metal stud framing with precision and adherence to safety standards.
• Install concrete forms and assist with rebar placement for foundations and structural elements.
• Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing surfaces, pouring, and sealing to ensure durability.
• Execute masonry work including stucco, siding, plastering, and other exterior finishes.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to complete framing, roofing, siding, and restoration projects efficiently.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution from start to finish.
• Assist with roofing installation, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and interior finishing details.
• Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to all safety protocols on-site.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential construction with a focus on framing, carpentry, and remodeling projects.
• Strong knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques.
• Skilled in masonry work including stucco application, siding installation, plastering, and restoration projects.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools (such as saws, drills), heavy equipment (like forklifts or cranes), and welding equipment safely.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills coupled with the ability to follow schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with construction management principles for coordinating project timelines effectively.
• Experience with heavy lifting tasks while maintaining safety standards at all times.
• Knowledge of building codes related to residential construction including framing standards and safety regulations.

Pay: $18.75 - $25.00 per hour
