Greets every guest with a smile and assist with questions on machine functions, rules of play, current promotions, assist with Oaklawn Rewards information and other general knowledge questions. Performs minor repairs, corrects malfunctions and handles jackpot procedures. Verifies and witnesses jackpots. Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and Oaklawn policies and procedures. Serve as ambassadors for OJC, maintaining the highest standard in guest service, teamwork, courtesy and safety by ensuring that Oaklawn's Core Values and Standards of Behavior are adhered to.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

Processes jackpot wins and notifies the CSM as needed

Understands, promotes and explains company promotions and points system

Recommends Oaklawn Rewards program to players not using a membership card

Accurately completes paperwork within the guidelines of State, Federal regulations and company policies and procedures

Supervises necessary authorization (request for jackpot) and pay out of hand-paid jackpots in accordance with policy
-
Ensures that EGS machines are filled with ticket paper, so as to keep machines in constant operation

Services minor machine and printer malfunctions

Notifies EGS supervisors, Shift Managers, or EGS mechanics of guest needs and requests, follows up to ensure positive guest relations

Swift response to player needs
-
Assist with marketing promotions as needed

Ensures cleanliness of assigned area, reporting issues to appropriate department(s)

Assists in maintaining EGS floor security by notifying department heads of any suspicious activity

Maintains current knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as the property’s internal controls, policies and procedures

Promotes fun, friendly, positive guest relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service

Maintain confidentiality of players' information and all OJC procedures

Maintains an attitude & philosophy consistent with the company Core Values and Standards of Behavior with internal & external guests

Regular punctual attendance
