SLP Logistics Executive (Amazon Operations)

Job Summary:
The SLP Logistics Executive will be responsible for ensuring security, loss prevention, and compliance across Amazon logistics and supply chain operations. The role focuses on minimizing losses due to theft, damage, fraud, and process deviations while maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant working environment across warehouses, transportation, and last-mile operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Security & Loss Prevention Operations (Logistics Focus):
- Implement and monitor loss prevention strategies across Amazon warehouses, hubs, and delivery operations
- Identify and investigate cases of inventory loss, theft, damage, or process non-compliance
- Monitor shrinkage trends and suggest corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure adherence to Amazon SOPs related to security and loss prevention
2. Warehouse & Supply Chain Security:
- Monitor physical security systems such as CCTV, access control, and gate management
- Conduct regular audits of warehouse security processes and inventory movement
- Coordinate with operations teams to identify vulnerabilities in inbound, outbound, and storage processes
- Support surprise checks and audits to ensure operational integrity
3. Incident Management & Investigations:
- Conduct internal investigations related to theft, pilferage, damage, or policy violations
- Collect evidence, prepare incident reports, and share findings with relevant stakeholders
- Assist in disciplinary or corrective action processes as per company guidelines
- Coordinate with local authorities or security teams when required
4. Compliance & Process Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with Amazon safety, security, and operational policies
- Support implementation of risk mitigation and loss control measures
- Assist in training staff and associates on security awareness and loss prevention practices
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and compliance
5. Reporting & Data Analysis:
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly loss prevention reports
- Analyze data related to shrinkage, damages, and operational losses
- Share insights and recommendations to reduce recurring losses
- Support audits and management reviews with accurate documentation
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong observational and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with integrity and confidentiality
- Willingness to work in shifts and operational environments
Qualifications:
- Graduate or pursuing graduation in any discipline
- Freshers can apply; prior experience in security, logistics, or loss prevention is an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in e-commerce, warehouse, or logistics operations
- Exposure to Amazon logistics or similar large-scale operations
- Understanding of SOP-driven environments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹11,874.67 - ₹40,776.53 per month
