Qualification: CA(Finalist)/ACCA(Qualified)/CMA(Qualified)/MBA (Finance)
Experience: 05–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in mall, real estate, or property management and strong experience in receivables management and recovery
Reports To: CFO / CEO/ GM
SECTION-2: JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Manager Accounts, Finance & Recovery is responsible for overseeing the complete financial, accounting, and recovery operations of the mall. The role ensures proper financial controls, timely revenue recovery from tenants, compliance with Pakistan’s statutory and tax requirements, and accurate financial reporting to management.
SECTION-3: POSITION DIMENSIONS
1: Accounts Payable Management
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor cash flow and ensure availability of funds for operational requirements
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and close audit observations
2: Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Monitor budget versus actual performance and report variances to management
- Support senior management with financial analysis and planning
- Implement cost control measures to improve financial efficiency
3: Rent, Revenue & Recovery Management
- Ensure timely billing of rent, CAM charges, utilities, signage, and other tenant charges
- Monitor tenant receivables and ageing on a regular basis
- Lead recovery of outstanding dues from tenants
- Coordinate with leasing and legal departments for defaulters and disputed cases
- Implement recovery plans to minimize overdue receivables and bad debts
4: Tenant Coordination & Lease Compliance
- Coordinate with tenants regarding billing issues, statements, and payment follow-ups
- Ensure financial clauses of lease agreements are properly implemented
- Maintain updated tenant ledgers and recovery records
- Escalate chronic defaulters to management with proper documentation
5: Taxation, Controls & Compliance (Pakistan)
- Ensure compliance with FBR requirements including Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax
- Oversee timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns
- Ensure proper deduction and deposit of withholding taxes
- Develop and implement financial SOPs, approval matrices, and internal controls
6: Team Management & Reporting
- Lead and manage accounts and recovery teams
- Set monthly recovery targets and KPIs
- Review team performance and provide guidance and training
- Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for senior management
SECTION-4: COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Internal Relations: Works closely with CEO/CFO, Mall Operations, Leasing & Marketing, Legal, HR, Procurement, and IT teams for financial reporting, budgeting, billing, recovery, compliance, and approvals.
- External Relations: Coordinates with tenants, auditors, banks, tax authorities (FBR), legal advisors, and vendors for billing, recovery, audits, taxation, and financial transactions.
SECTION-5: COMPETENCIES:
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Proven ability to manage rent, CAM, utility billing, and receivables recovery
- Practical understanding of FBR regulations, including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax
- Good understanding of lease agreements and tenant financial obligations
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a problem-solving approach
- Effective leadership, team management, and performance monitoring skills
- Clear communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external stakeholders
- High level of integrity, control awareness, and compliance with company policies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs350,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
