Small Engine Mechanic

Join our dynamic team as a Small Engine Mechanic and become a vital part of keeping outdoor power equipment, small engines, and related machinery running at peak performance! In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of small engines, including commercial and residental lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and more. Your mechanical expertise will help customers get back to work quickly and efficiently while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues on small engines and equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and electrical testing tools
• Perform repairs on a variety of equipment including lawnmowers, blowers, and other power tools
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, blade sharpening, belt replacements, and engine tune-ups
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs effectively
• Interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance advice to clients

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or in a related automotive or equipment repair role; dealership experience is highly preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally

Pay: $25.00 - $31.97 per hour
