SME Support Account Manager

Job Purpose:


We are looking for a motivated professional to join our team as an SME Support Account Manager. The role focuses on supporting Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) clients by providing IT solutions. You will help build relationships, support client needs, and contribute to achieving sales growth targets while developing your skills in account management and business development.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Support in acquiring and managing SME clients across different industries.
  • Assist in preparing client presentations, proposals, and account updates.
  • Work with senior account managers to deliver digital solutions that meet client needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and timely support.
  • Learn and apply sales techniques (upselling, cross-selling, handling client requests).
  • Keep track of client information and activities using CRM tools.
  • Support reporting activities and provide input for sales strategies.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT computer Science, or a related field.


Minimum Experience:


  • 1-3 years IT sales, account management experience.


Job-Specific Skills:


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive client relationships.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in account management.
  • Basic knowledge of sales and customer service principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Exposure to IT solutions (ERP, CRM, or digital platforms) is an advantage.
