Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, beverages, and light food items with precision and flair.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, offering product recommendations and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety standards and food handling protocols.
• Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
• Uphold food safety regulations through proper food preparation and serving techniques, ensuring a safe environment for all guests.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred, especially within cafés or retail environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts while maintaining quality service.
• Knowledge of the food industry standards related to food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks.
• Experience in coffee or smoothie preparation is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food industry best practices.
