Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
• Prepare smoothies, food items, and beverages according to company recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems such as PARBrink for order processing and cash handling
• Manage transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the café area, adhering to food safety protocols
• Restock supplies and ensure the café is well-organized for efficient service
• Assist customers with product selections, upselling items to enhance sales opportunities
• Follow food preparation guidelines to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Handle serving duties efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Support team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, café, or retail environments is preferred; barista or counter service experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as PARBrink is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Pay: $9.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
