Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a memorable visit.
• Prepare and serve smoothies, coffee drinks, and food items following established recipes and food safety standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
• Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and sales transactions with accuracy.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in training new team members on product knowledge, POS operation, and customer service expectations.
• Support sales goals by engaging with customers to promote menu items and upsell when appropriate.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift operations, including inventory management and restocking supplies.

Experience

• Previous barista or café experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and retail math for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
• Excellent communication skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and work effectively with team members.
• Prior experience in the food industry or retail setting will be advantageous in understanding the dynamics of a café environment. Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
