Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Smoothie Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious smoothies while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to an enjoyable experience for our customers, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of smoothies according to established recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
• Engage with customers, taking their orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Operate cash registers for processing payments, handling cash transactions with precision.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
• Stay informed about menu items, including nutritional information and seasonal offerings, to effectively communicate with customers.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
• Basic math skills for handling cash register operations and retail math calculations.
• Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
• Experience in a café or similar environment is a plus, particularly with smoothie or beverage preparation.
• A willingness to learn about coffee preparation and other menu items can enhance your role within our team.
