Smoothie/Prep

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Smoothie/Prep team member to join our vibrant café environment. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious smoothies and assisting with food preparation while providing exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and blend smoothies according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring all items are prepared safely and in compliance with food safety standards.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Toast POS to process customer orders accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Demonstrate knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in smoothie or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast POS system is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
